Service Description: These data were obtained from the U.S. Geological Survey's National Elevation Dataset, 1/3 Arc second resolution obtained in 2013. The Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center further processed these to build a multidirectional hillshade for the area covered by the DEM. The toolbox used was modified slightly to run on ArcGIS v10.3.1, and originally obtained from Relief Shading repository on GitHub (https://github.com/fveronesi/Relief_Shading), that was created and posted by Dr. Fabio Veronesi and Prof. Dr. Lorenz Hurni from Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation, ETH Zurich Stefano-Franscini-Platz 5, CH-8093 Zurich.
